An 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch signed Edwin Flinn of London, the gilt tone dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic divisions positioned to six o'clock, floral and foliate decoration to centre, all surrounded by a minute track, the ornately decorated case with milled band, hallmarked London 1873, fitted with a signed fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement and split bi-metal compensation balance. Case diameter 51mm. Total weight 114gms.
Condition reportEdwin Flinn of London pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, areas of discolouration and dirtying to the gilt dial with some erosion of the black Roman numeral markers, seconds hands are missing, tiny marks to the other hands, scratching and tiny dints to the 18ct gold case consistent with general wear, rubbing to the decoration to the back of the case, light tarnishing to the side of the case, light scratching to the pendant and bow.
