A Victorian 18ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch by W & F Terry of Manchester, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers surrounded by an outer minute track, the ornately decorated case, hallmarked Chester 1898, scroll and foliate design, vacant cartouche to rear, fitted with a signed gilt half plate going barrel movement with partial chaton set train jewels, right angle ratchet tooth lever escapement and bi-metal compensation balance. Case diameter 39mm. Total weight 45gms.
Condition reportOpen faced pocket watch by W & F Terry, keyless manual wind movement is currently functioning, dial appears to be in good condition with some small marks, hands also appear to be in good condition, glass shows some small marks, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, hinges have wear to the corners.
