An Edwardian 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch signed Thomas Russell and Son, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, outer minute track, the round case hallmarked Chester 1908 with decoration to the front and rear, fitted with a signed three quarter plate movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm. Total weight 91gms. With retailer box. Together with a gold plated Albert chain with lobster clasp and T-bar terminations. Total length 32cm.
Condition reportThomas Russell and Son pocket watch, keyless wind movement is currently functioning, few tiny marks to the white enamel dial with an area of cracking between 9 and 10 o'clock, discolouration and dirtying to the blue coloured hands, light scratching to the glass with some tiny chips to the edge, scratching and tiny dints to the decorated case, small dents to the rear of the case, dirtying to the crown. Gold plated Albert chain appears to be in generally good condition with some light wear and scratching. Lot to include associated box.
