ANTIQUE KOREAN BLUE AND WHITE LIDDED BOWL

From the Private Collection of Harry Lawrence of Laguna Beach. 17-18th Century, Li Dynasty, Korea. The bowl is painted with two dragons after a flaming pearl. The wooden lid is In-laid with four carved jade tiles, with a Chinese character on each, to read " to have eternal life". In the center of the lid, is a jadeite finial. Diameter: 7 1/4 in (18.5cm), H: 4 5/8 in. (12cm)
