From the private collection of a gentleman from California. Centrally painted with a boy showing a book to a woman with her attendant holding a fan by the porch, overlooking other houses and nearby mountains. Surrounding the figural painting is a band of geometrical pattern with alternating round and cartouche panels with floral design, and with a lily flower border by the rim, all in coral red tones. L: 10 in. (25.4cm) x W: 6 3/4 in. (17.3cm)
