From the private collection of a gentleman from California. Rising from a splayed cylindrical foot with a band of floral diaper and roundels of auspicious symbols, the globular body richly painted with military men in training and assembly by the palace courtyard, the long trumpet neck has rows of silkworm and ruyi heads around, and interrupted by a thin flange in the middle repeating the design on the neck, and a band of ruyi heads underneath the flared rim. Double ring mark on the base. H: 12 1/2 in.(31.5cm)
