A PAIR OF FIVE-LIGHT SILVER CANDELABRAS
Peru, Circa 1940
The Georgian style candlecups with stepped bobeches above and below the gathered reed form cup, four of which are supported by S scroll arms with mid-arm acanthus scroll joint. The higher candle cup is supported by a square section inverted vase column which supports four arms and all raised on a six-part splayed lily form base with chased scroll work on the circumference. Stamped on bottom of hollow base 925, xxxxxx (illegible). Total weight 75.7 oz (2,147.6 gr). Very good condition. 11 1/2 x 10 x 9 inches (29.2 x 25.4 x 22.8 cm)
