A SET OF FOUR ROMANESQUE OVAL MARBLE CAMEO PLAQUES

20th Century
The hand-carved white Carrara marble reliefs showing the profiles of four Roman emperors with laurel leaf wreaths, articulated hair, and serious commanding expressions. All applied on a thick beige agglomerate marble and framed in an iron band with an iron loop hanger.

Condition: Surface wear to cameos and oxidation to iron frames. Very good condition. 36 x 24 ½ x 4 inches (91.5 x 62.2 x 10.2 cm)
