A PAIR OF CHINESE CARVED HARDSTONE PLAQUES WITH DRAGONS
Each rectangular hardstone plaque having a mitered beveled edge, creating a reserve for a pair of high-relief dragons jousting in the sky among clouds, with a raised circular Chinese coin between them. Both panels from the same block of stone. Condition: Some tips of the dragons' spiny back ridge broken off; one panel with a long repaired crack. 16 x 26 1/8 x 2 inches (40.6 x 66.3 x 5 cm)
