France, 19th Century In the manner of Claude Michel Clodion, the putto blowing on a horn and playing a drum slung around his shoulders with a strap; the cherub wearing a jester's cap and a shoulder strap with attached bells while carrying a baton topped with a jester's head; set on a circular ochre marble base.
