A CHARLES X STYLE SIENNA MARBLE, PATINATED AND DORE BRONZE FIGURAL CLOCK SET
France, 19th Century.
The sienna marble rectangular base surmounted by a rectangular patinated bronze pedestal encasing the etched bronze dial with black enameled Roman chapters and pierced moon hands. Clockworks impressed with ""4"" & ""1"" at the 6 o'clock mark, further impressed with an illegible mark; the well sculpted bearded male figure in classically draped robes, leaning against the pedestal with his foot planted on a rock with a fox nearby and a sword, the flaming torch and a berried laurel wreath.
The pair of Corinthian triangular column four light candelabra on tripartite patinated and dore bronze scroll and acanthus-clasped scroll feet.

Condition: Clockworks are oxidized, no key, no pendulum and no back cover. Clock: 19 1/4 x 14 3/4 X 5 1/2 inches; Candelabra: 23 3/4 x 9 inches ( Clock: 48.1 x 36.8 x 13.7 cm; Candelabra: 59.3 x 22.5 cm)
