A LARZET BRONZE DORÉ AND PATINATED BRONZE FIGURAL MANTEL CLOCK
France, 19th Century A seated boy holding the horn of a goat on top of a rocky mound, both surrounded by four segments of a bronze doré grapevine, the boy holding in his left hand an object now broken off (probably a branch with fruit on it); resting on a white marble plinth and base; the clock having a white enameled face with black Roman numerals and the name LARZET above 12. RUE DE LA CONCORDE; the inside back plate stamped LARZET A PARIS at the top, 553 above C I to the left, a 6 below in the center, and a very worn and illegible circular Medal of Honor stamp; No winding key.
