A FRENCH EMPIRE STYLE PATINATED BRONZE MOUNTED SÈVRES STYLE PORCELAIN STRIKING MANTEL CLOCK
20th Century
The circular scroll-embossed bronze dial having enameled Roman numerals on porcelain plaques; surmounted with a leaf and fleur-de-lis gallery, the canted corners mounted with female half-figures over feather scrolls, all resting on paw feet; the dial mounted between two flowering cornucopia joined by a shield; the lobed bleu roi porcelain body with gold enamel decoration. No marks or signatures.

Condition: Wear to enamels; surface scratches and pitting to bronze mounts; no key or pendulum. 21 ½ x 21 x 17 inches (54.6 x 53.3 x 43.2 cm)
