A LOUIS XVI STYLE BRONZE AND MARBLE MANTEL CLOCK
19th Century, France A cast bronze figure of Cupid with quiver and bow holds a torch in one hand. The clock face is enameled white with painted floral garlands joining the Arabic numerals. Gilt bronze columns frame beveled crystal panels revealing the Sun God pendulum; raised on a verte marble plinth and gilt bronze feet. Stamped ""Made in France"" on clock works along with ""1988"", ""6"" and ""4""; pendulum stamped ""SH"" ""SH"" ""1010.""
