The four columns with gilt bronze Corinthian capitals and bases flank the foliate cast gilt bronze clock face with inset circular enameled chapters with Arabic numerals and the foliate cast gilt bronze waisted pendulum; clock face signed Hézé A Paris between the 8 and 4; chimes; no key; the upper and lower friezes are adorned with high relief carved marble rosettes and droped garlands; all raised upon foliate and floral cast gilt bronze flattened bronze feet.

Marble could be cleaned. Overall condition very good. 22 ½ x 11 3/4 x 6 ½ inches (57.2 x 29.8 x 16.5 cm)
