A PAIR OF LARGE CONTINENTAL GILDED, DECORATED, AND EMBOSSED PORCELAIN COMPOTES
Each large turquoise circular bowl having an everted acanthus rim and basketry design reticulated sides with applied flowers and leaves; set on a partly gadrooned column surrounded by three fully modeled gilded dolphins resting on a triangular platform with a shell decorated apron and three large scroll feet; with overall gilded detailing on the exterior turquoise ground and interior white ground; dark blue maker's mark on underside.
