Germany
The large, round, footed centerpiece having a bulbous gadrooned body and a shaped rim with two shell-form handle-like extensions; four groups of applied flowers on the shoulder and neck marking the front, back, and sides; maker's mark of crossed pitchforks in blue on underside.

Surface crack in bottom edge (manufacturing flaw); numerous losses to applied petals and leaves. 9 5/8 x 7 ¾ x 7 5/8 inches (24.5 x 19.6 x 19.3 cm)
