Early 20th Century, Provenance: River Oaks Antiques Gallery 1996
Each chair having a finely carved foliate crest rail and a pierced splat with an open cartouche in the center; the upholstered seat raised on ornate relief carved cabriole legs with foliate scroll feet; the armchairs graced with serpentine arms featuring foliate relief and scroll handles..




Condition: Patination to raised carving particularly at handles, upholstery in poor condition. Minor chipping to back legs and front leg on one front leg. 39 1/2 x 22 1/2 x 19 inches (100.33 x 57.15 x 48.26 cm)
