A LOUIS XVI STYLE BRONZE MOUNT CONSOLE WITH MARBLE TOP
The black marble top with Dupont edge is supported by a gilt bronze apron of cast laurel leaves and pierced scrolling tendrils encircling black marble cabochons. The apron is supported by square section cast legs with a cast weave pattern and are finished to look like wood with floret ormolu mounts at the corners and garland bellflowers on the tapering square section legs. Stabilized by an incurved stretcher supporting a circular marble medallion, raised on cast water leaf feet.
Very good condition, minor wear. 34 49 1/2 x 25 inches (86.4 x 125.7 x 63.5 cm)
