AN UNUSUAL PAIR OF ITALIAN GILTWOOD URNS WITH WROUGHT IRON PRICKET CANDELABRA
The twelve-light wrought iron pricket candelabras take the form of a flowering tree stabilized by a crenelated bow and flowing ribbons. The candelabras are supported by a finely proportioned, hand-carved walnut urn with hand-carved lion head handles on a gadrooned body with flaring base and set on an octagonal plinth. The carving and gilding is on the front side of the urns and gilded with ochre bole.

Condition: The back side does not have a finish. Some age cracks to urn, lion heads regilded. Wrought iron pricket candelabra are gilded in a later borghese finish. 51 1/2 x 22 x 10 inches (151 x 56 x 25 cm)
