A PAIR OF ITALIAN PAINTED AND PARCEL GILT OVAL MIRRORS
The exuberant hand-carved crest comprised of a two-handled footed urn with arching fruited garland resting on a draped runner with bell flower and tassel pendants, all flanked by richly carved olive brandes and laurel leaf garlands that drape over the oval frame with carved beading; all supported by a convex painted frame featuring an acanthus carved band and plain edge that encircles a beveled mirror; at the bottom a carved gilt wood, open heraldic shield with a laurel garland draped over holdbacks with fluttering ribbons.

Condition: Overall very good. 45 x 40 x 5 (114 x 102 x 23 cm)
