A PAIR OF FINELY CAST RÉGENCE STYLE GILT BRONZE MIRRORS
20th Century
The S-scroll pediment with a flourish bounded by C-scrolls is supported by a cast open basket weave frieze and an elongated shaped cast gilt bronze frame of acanthus ribs and pierced scroll casting with fruited garlands, with a shell carving at the bottom where the C-scrolls meet. The frame encloses an elaborately beveled mirror that conforms to the shape of the mirror frame.

Condition: Overall very good. 35 x 22 x 2 1/2 inches (99 x 56 x 6 cm)
