A LARGE PAIR OF CLOISONNÉ URNS WITH COVERS ON WOODEN STANDS
20th Century
The domed covers with finial and wide brim are brass enameled with blue and green dragons flying around a night sky with ribbons and clouds. The cover sits on a cylindrical collar with geometric motifs and is supported by a dramatically flaring high shoulder vase form body with a flaring pad foot. The body features dragons, ribbons, and clouds in blue, green, gold, and white on a midnight ground. All colors and figures outlined with brass wire. Interior enameled.


Condition: Wear to finish, minor chips at base. 38 x 18 x 18 inches (96.5 x 45.7 x 45.7 cm)
