A CHINESE CLOISONNÉ AND CARVED BONE VASE
The surface of the canteen-form footed vase covered primarily with cloisonné decoration, with a large butterfly-shaped bone veneered scene featured on the front and back, each depicting children frolicking outdoors during a festival; above each scene is a pair of gold eyes surrounded by swirling cloisonné forms on a blue ground, on the shoulder are two green-ground cloisonné frogs.

Condition: Minor losses to gilded lines on foot. 16 ¼ x 14 x 6 ½ inches (41.2 x 35.5 x 16.5 cm)
