19th Century The samovar consisting of a tiered lid and a cylindrical body with double-scroll handles, all supported by a square pedestal foot set; the lid, body, and base stamped with the maker's name in Cyrillic (Vasili Aleksander Pavel Batashev) flanked by 1, 2, or 3 circular stamps from various European countries; the two-handled oval tray stamped with the name “F.
