A SMALL LOUIS XV STYLE WRITING DESK WITH BRONZE MOUNTS
The shaped inset tooled and gilt black leather top is has a rosewood banding and a cast gilt bronze edge, with elaborate corner castings of the head of Minerva above an acanthus and bell flower pendant. The conforming body features three locking drawers outlined with ormolu and with parquetry reserves. The whole supported by tapering square section, cabriole legs with ormolu sabots. Includes key.

Condition: Patination to ormolu. Overall very good condition. 30 x 52 x 29 1/2 inches (76 x 132 x 75 cm)
