19TH CENTURY BLACK LEATHER TRUNK

Concave style trunk with heavy iron handles, straps, and buttons. The top of the trunk has a compass rose style design etched into the center, and diagonal designs on either side. The interior has a blue flower pattern. The front latch closes flush. On the side of the trunk, in small buttons, the initials H. S. 12" H x 14.5" W x 23.75" L. Condition issues: Sections of leather areas missing throughout. Private collection Oxford, Mi.
