Five William Harrison Ainsworth limited 250 complete copies, numbered 166. Titles Tower of London Vol. 1 & 2, Old Saint Paul's Vol. 1&2, and Windsor Castle, all under the title heading Historical Romances. Volumes replete with full page etchings, gold leaf pages, cranberry leather book covers with intricate gold embellishments. 8.5" L x 6" W. Circa 19th century. Condition issues: two of the books have small areas with missing spine, all five volumes are ex Flint Junior College library books, and are marked as such with a paper plate on the inside cover, due date slip, and due date pocket, otherwise condition is good.
