A very fine thirteen-piece Chinese carved dining set, eight chairs and two servers, probably teak. Including table (60" L x 39.25" W x 31" H; 83" L with leaves) inset with heavily carved mythical scenes under glass, curved edges, carved scenic apron atop temple-column carved legs, eight chairs with reversible cane/silk seats, carved backs and square carved legs, along with a glass-topped server with four drawers, recessed handles, overall heavy carving (39.7" L x 20" W x 30" H). Also included is D-shaped liquor cabinet and server with thick glass top covering heavily carved surface, hinged for serving; many hidden panels and drawers with holders for bottles and barware (36.5" L x 17.5" W x 40" H). This is a 'must-see' to reveal the many secret drawers. The set is in excellent condition except for cane work on one armchair, circa early 20th century. Private collection Oxford, MI.
