Primitive style painting of three Russian peasants seated at a dinner table in the evening. One man smoking a pipe, a woman in a babushka with her eyes focused on a man playing the accordian in Cossack dress. A large yellow coffee/tea urn dominates the table, while a dog is sleeping underneath. Signed LL by Russian/ Ukranian artist David Davidovich Burliuk, (1882-1962) known for his modernist paintings. 11" H x 14.75" W sight, 19.25" H x 23" W frame, circa early to mid 20th century.
