Highly figured walnut heavily carved vanity in the chinese taste, two doors with bas relief carved roses centered on book-matched veneer, opening to reveal hinged 3-fold nicely-silvered mirrors, Greek key decoration above kneehole opening flanked by two drawers each concealing three nicely dovetailed interior drawers, carved acanthus-leaf feet, egg & dart carved decoration above apron, carved crest, along with matching chair having beautiful silk velvet and jacquard upholstered seat and back, carved crest, acanthus leaf carved feet and egg & leaf carved knee, also has Greek key decoration, circa early 20th century, small chip on dresser top otherwise in good condition.
