Beautiful Venetian 3-drawer, D-shaped commode with black marble top, nicely painted red with elaborate polychrome Baroque scrollwork, leafwork and putti having parcel gilt ornamentation, fine drawer dovetailing, twin-dolphin bronze drawer pulls, carved lion's head and floral embellishments, stylized gilt eagle feet with feather decoration, gilt shield apron, 36.5" H x 50.5" L x 20.75" D, circa early 20th century, curved front panels have age splits otherwise in excellent condition.
