MASSIVE CHINESE BLUE & WHITE PORCELAIN CHARGER

Massive blue & white Chinese porcelain charger. This beautiful piece has a central circular panel of birds amongst trees and rocks along a river scene. The flared lip completes the item with 10 different cranes all positioned differently between stylized ribbons and clouds. "T" shaped panels compliment the "Y" circled figures on the underside of the lip. Underglaze base. 16th/17th century. 21 1/2" diameter. Total approx. weight of 6 kilograms.
