12 CHINESE QIANLONG ENAMELED ZODIAC SNUFF BOTTLES

Complete set of 12 Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong porcelain Zodiac snuff bottles. Each snuff bottle is hand painted and enameled to depict one animal of the Chinese Zodiac on each bottle with calligraphy. Animals depicted are rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. Each holds blue four character Qianlong (1736-1795) calligraphy mark to bottom. Made 20th century. Each measures approx. 2 7/8" height (7.3cm). Total weight of 475 grams.
