Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong hand painted enameled porcelain moon flask vase having unusual Western fox hunt scene with male and female figures riding on horses. Surrounding them are scent hound dogs. The male and female figures are each holding a whip and the male is blowing a horn. In the background a building can be seen bearing a religious Christian cross to the top of a steeple. Also in the scene are trees, mountains and flowers. Has gilded dragon handles and turquoise and red enamel diamond embellishments. Gilded scroll floral design over cobalt blue ground border design. Holds Qianlong (1736-1795) six character archaic reign mark to bottom. Made 19th to early 20th century. Measures 13 3/4" height x 9 1/4" width x 4 3/4" depth (34.9cm x 23.4cm x 12cm). Total weight of 1808 grams.
