Breathtaking Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande bronze scholar's desk brush pot vase having Buddha mountain design with 24K gold gilding. Depicts a seated happy Buddha with two attendants to front, each having fine 24K yellow gold cladding to faces. Stunning raised scenic mountain design throughout. Holds four character Xuande (1426-1435) calligraphy gilt reign mark to reverse. Very heavy and solid bronze casting. Measures 11" height x 9 1/2" length x (27.9cm x 24.1cm x 5 1/2" depth). Total weight of approx. 6.56 kilograms.
