Engraved powder horn, probably English, with scenes depicting a 3 masted sailing ship, 2 story house, military drum and crossed pikes with British flags, and a dove verso, with an oval engraved cartouche reading "D. ERSKANE/XCI REG'T", with an irregular area 1 1/2" x 2" of losses to surface, , the 91st Regiment was raised in 1793 in Scotland, (Erskane a Scottish name). Some losses to large end of horn. 13 1/2" long,

At wide end big crack, missing pieces, middle of horn under name large area (silver dollar size)suspect burned. Repaired a long time ago. Repair is now missing. Minor damage to narrow end of horn as well.
