A CHINESE CARVED IVORY FLOWER FILLED VASE, 20TH CENTURY, of hexagonal vasiform and centering panels of auspicious flowering foliage and birds with incised character marks beneath a waisted neck enclosed by bands of fretwork and ruyi flanked by beastly mask handles suspending loops surmounted by nicely detailed blossoming peony branches, raised on a conforming plinth, reversing to an underside with a square character mark seal. Height: 13 5/8"
