AN AMERICAN CHIPPENDALE CARVED MAHOGANY LOWBOY, 18TH/19TH CENTURY, the later rectangular top with channeled sides above two short drawers flanking a central drawer and each enclosing stylized bat form brass backplates suspending scrolled handles, over a double arched skirt rail centering a reeded spherical finial, continuing to shaped panels raised on cabriole legs with shell detailed hips ending in claw and ball feet. Height: 32 1/4" Width: 43 1/8" Depth: 21 7/8"
