A CHINESE MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID BROWN LACQUERED STAND, MID 19TH CENTURY, the shaped rectangular top above a conforming reticulated frieze on a sloped shoulder and stylized cabriole legs ending in scrolled toes, inlaid with figures on a bridge before a pavilion beneath stylized trees within borders of trellis panels and phoenix birds on a similarly inlaid base with figures at various pursuits on a terrace. Similar lot sold Christie's London, November 2006, Lot 70. Height: 17" Width: 11 3/4"
