A PAIR OF SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE THREE-LIGHT CANDELABRA, STAMPED H E & CO., LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each having a tapering octagonal stem with fluted corners beneath a conforming nozzle and drip-pan supporting a removable three-light candelabrum of "s" form branches centering a third twist-reeded baluster form support surmounted by similarly modeled nozzles and drip-pans, raised on a flaring octagonal stepped base with laurel leaf stop fluted corners and reeded trim, engraved with an owl over a banner crest centering "CRESCIT SUB RONDERE VIRTUS", stamped on base rim "H E & C, EP", interior of central nozzle stamped with 10681. Height: 18 1/8" Width: 14 1/2"
