A CONTINENTAL SILVER YAD TORAH POINTER, STAMPED 835, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the repoussŽ stylized acanthus baluster form handle with stippled details issuing a cylindrical stem centering an engraved Hebrew inscription ending in a forefinger pointing hand stamped 835 above a shield enclosing two stars and trellis panel opposite a spherical finial of leaves on a stippled ground surmounted by a suspension loop with silver chain. Height: 12 1/2"
