A CONTINENTAL CARVED WHITE MARBLE SCULPTURE OF VENUS AT HER BATH, PROBABLY FRENCH, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, modeled in a seated position with a startled expression while clutching her robe and shielding her breasts; height: 51 1/2". On a rotating oval base and a Doric fluted columnar pedestal; height: 31 3/4".
