A FRENCH PROVINCIAL CARVED WALNUT AND CANED FAUTEUIL, 18TH CENTURY, in the Louis XV style and having shaped arched crest rail centering a floral pendant above a serpentine rectangular back issuing sinuous arms and supports on a conforming seat with bowed seat rail enclosing blossoming stems continuing to cabriole legs surmounted by tapering flowering foliate hips ending in stylized leaf toes with a ribbon-tied pale peach silk padded cushion. Height: 38 1/8"
