A FRENCH PROVINCIAL CARVED WALNUT COMMODE, SECOND HALF 18TH CENTURY, the rounded rectangular top with molded edge above two short drawers with shaped paneled fronts centering foliate cast shaped bronze pulls enclosing a third escutcheon drawer having an oval paneled front and reticulated "C" scrolled foliate cartouche form lockplate, over two similarly detailed and mounted drawers above a serpentine skirt rail flanked by rounded legs with fluted trim. Height: 30 1/2" Width: 48 3/4" Depth: 21 1/2"
