A LOUIS XVI STYLE GILT BRONZE FIREPLACE SCREEN, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the rectangular wire mesh screen surmounted by a circular berried laurel modeled wreath above ribbon wrapped staffs with pinecone tips flanked by trailing branches and "C" scrolls supported by beaded tapering circular cones surmounted by urn finials above rectangular monnaie detailed legs entwined with berried branches over a skirt rail of drapery swags centering a foliate cartouche and raised on scrolled paw feet. Height: 20 1/4" Width: 28 7/8"
