A PAIR OF VINTAGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN FISH BOWLS, CIRCA 1979, each of tapering globular form and polychrome enameled throughout with various butterflies amongst blossoming branches on a lavender ground beneath a collar of continuous turquoise discs and an everted flat rim with stylized floral and scrolling vine clusters enclosing an interior of iron red koi swimming amongst marine foliage. Note: These fish bowls are said to have been imported from China when relations improved in the late 1970's. Height: 12 3/4" Diameter: 15 3/8"
