A VINTAGE CHINESE POLYCHROME SILK KESI PANEL, REPUBLIC PERIOD, 1930'S, detailed throughout with gilt metal threading and having a rectangular form depicting two galleons with dragon bowsprits and oarsmen set amidst a mountainous river with pavilions and spectators viewing from small boats and embankments, mounted in a conforming glazed carved hardwood frame and stand of reticulated scrolls on curled feet. Dimensions with stand: height: 66, width: 30 1/2", depth: 20 1/2". Height: 48 1/8" Width: 25"
