A MASSIVE CHINESE CARVED ZITAN BRUSHPOT, 19TH CENTURY, of cylindrical form and centering rectangular panels enclosing a finely detailed scene of three bearded immortals wearing long robes and holding their respective attributes gathered before a sacred rock table set with auspicious vessels beneath an ancient pine reversing to an ethereal mountainous waterside view interspersed with elegant pavilions above bamboo, palm, and lotus foliage beneath a sky of wispy stylized clouds between beaded bands and a square four character in relief signature. Height: 14 3/4" Diameter: 9 1/2"
