AN AMERICAN PERIOD QUEEN ANNE CARVED MAPLE HIGHBOY, STAINED A LIGHT BROWN, SCHOOL OF WETHERSFIELD CONNECTICUT, EARLY 18TH CENTURY, the rectangular molded cornice above two short drawers with flat paneled fronts centering a third enclosing a Fou-Paw detail associated with Wethersfield Connecticut, over four graduated long drawers on a conforming chest stand with one long drawer above two short drawers flanking a third and all having shaped brass back plates with chamfered edges suspending a "C" form handle over a shaped skirt rail raised on cabriole legs ending in circular pad feet. Height: 70 3/4" Width: 38 1/2" Depth: 20 1/8"
